Happy Friday Ladies,
Today I would like to share with you a passage of scripture that has TRANSFORMED and LIBERATED my mind. In reading and meditating on these verses, God has revealed to me the AUTHORITY and PROTECTION that my family and I have in Him.
I believe that often times the enemy is able to get away with so much, for so long, because we are not completely aware of the authority that we have as children of God. One day while meditating on Gods word, he led me to make a minor change to the way I read the particular passage I was studying. It was from that simple, minor change that the way I interpreted the entire passage was transformed. What did I do you ask? I simply changed all of the You's in the passage to I, My, or Me and read it out loud. As I read the scripture with these changes, it was like a river of peace ran through my body. The word was now LIVING to me. No longer did I feel it to be an outdated word from heaven but it had become a relevant fresh declaration from GOD for me.
I thank GOD for experiences such as these that show me his real existence in my life. My desire for you is that you will experience God in a new and FRESH way in this season. Lets use this as a starting point. I challenge you to read Gods word OUT LOUD with me as we declare Gods protection over our lives and the lives of our loved ones:
PSALMS 91 (NASB)
1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!”
3 For it is He who delivers ME from the snare of the trapper And from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover ME with His pinions, And under His wings I may seek refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark.
5 I will not be afraid of the terror by night, Or of the arrow that flies by day;
6 Of the pestilence that [a]stalks in darkness, Or of the destruction that lays waste at noon.
7 A thousand may fall at MY side And ten thousand at MY right hand, But it shall not approach ME.
8 I will only look on with MY eyes And see the recompense of the wicked.
9 [b]For I have made the Lord, MY refuge, Even the Most High, MY dwelling place.
10 No evil will befall ME, Nor will any plague come near MY [c]tent.
11 For He will give His angels charge concerning ME, To guard ME in all MY ways.
12 They will bear ME up in their hands, That I do not strike MY foot against a stone.
13 I will tread upon the lion and cobra, The young lion and the [d]serpent I will trample down.
12 They will bear ME up in their hands, That I do not strike MY foot against a stone.
13 I will tread upon the lion and cobra, The young lion and the [d]serpent I will trample down.
14 “Because SHE has loved Me, therefore I will deliver HER; I will set HER securely on high, because SHE has known My name.
15 “SHE will call upon Me, and I will answer HER; I will be with HER in [e]trouble; I will rescue HER and honor HER.
16 “With [f]a long life I will satisfy HER And [g]let HER see My salvation.”
15 “SHE will call upon Me, and I will answer HER; I will be with HER in [e]trouble; I will rescue HER and honor HER.
16 “With [f]a long life I will satisfy HER And [g]let HER see My salvation.”
Have a Blessed and Wonderful Weekend

Hi Rachel,
I love, love, loved your blog! Amen. What a wonderful piece of knowledge you shared with all of us by putting your name or "me" or "I" into the passages! This has helped make God's Word much more personal to me and I recommend everyone do this to embrace how personal our Awesome God is.
Rachel,
This is an inspiring revelation. As I struggle with my personal emotions and thoughts, I will remember to identify myself in such a way. I believe that God will show me His Greatest in my weakness.
