God’s Word is what you are looking for….

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth ALL thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s. (Psalm 103:2-5 KJV)

          When you find something so wonderful and amazing as God’s precious and holy promises, you can’t help but to want to share it with others. His Word is truly sweeter than honey to my mouth (Psalm 119:103 – How sweet are thy words unto my taste!).  I cannot contain how marvelous His promises are. If you are looking for hope… you will find it in God’s Word. If you are looking for forgiveness… you will find it in God’s Word. If you are looking for unending, unmeasurable love and acceptance… you will find it in God’s Word. If you are looking for the right path for your life… you will find it in God’s Word. If you are looking for meaning in your life… you will find it in God’s Word. Everything you are searching for that is right and good, is found in God’s Word, your bible. All you have to do is pick it up and start reading. Pray that the Holy Spirit will lead you and guide you to read what you have always been looking for…God. 

          God is waiting for you. His desire is for you to come to Him. He is waiting with arms open wide to love you beyond your comprehension. He already knows you and every need that you have. After all, He is your Creator and Maker. He designed you and placed a desire in your heart to know Him. If you sincerely come to Him, seeking to know Him, and wanting to communicate with Him, He will speak to you and show you what to do. God not only promises to hear your cry, He promises to answer you! He holds all the answers to all of your needs!

          I cannot encourage you enough to start communicating with God today. You will not regret it. It is the single most important thing you will do in your life. It doesn’t matter where you’ve been or what you have done, He promises to accept you, just as you are. So what are you waiting for? Come to the One who loves you more than anyone.
