See God in Everything

Hello again! :)

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (KJV)

"Rejoice evermore.  Pray without ceasing.  In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."

I am not sure if I told you before, but we are outdoors activity people. We love to camp and by camping we have saved so much by being able to do activities instead of spending all of our money on a hotel all the time. Don't get me wrong, we like staying in hotels as well but if we are traveling on vacation, for the most part we camp.  We figure we are not there most of the day anyway so why spend money that we could use for fun!

Today, I wanted to share with you three really cool places to travel and see. Later on, I will tell you of some more places.  Some I have been to, and some I am planning to see very soon.

1. Is Bok Tower and gardens- To me, it is what you would think the garden of Eden would look like with all the flowers around the garden. This is located in Lake Wales, Florida. There is a 250 ft. singing tower. The view is just breathtaking. The tower door is made of brass and on it is a story of Genesis. http://boktowergardens.org/

2. Sanibel Island- If you love beaches and shells this is the place to visit. The shells are just beautiful and I always loved looking for shells with my two children.  http://www.sanibelisland.com/

3. Kitty Hawk, North Carolina - There are many things to do, I will be going to see this one soon, but so far have found a lot of fun things to do! They have five lighthouses, I think I will be able to see at least three of them will let you know! Wild horses on the beach! Aquariums, Salt water fishing, shipwrecks and pirate stories! This sounds like this will be fun!

Whenever we are traveling, we always look around and see and take in everything that God has made. When somebody coined the phrase, "stop and smell the roses" this is what they meant. So many times we run ourselves ragged.  I really think God wants us to enjoy what he has made.  I am thankful for my love of the outdoors and that I found the perfect man to share my life with that also enjoys doing the same fun things as I do.  I have seen places that I never thought or dreamed that I would. You can make a vacation economical, you just have to spend a little more time preparing and planning.  I say its worthwhile!

Have a great week!

Lisa
