I pray all of you are well. I think I just want to share what's going in Chef Robin's world. I'm preparing for the Alive Festival. If you have not been to the Alive Christian Music Festival you are missing out. Alive starts this Wednesday, June 18th and runs through June 22nd. Alive is an amazing four day camping, seminar and concert experience. Imagine thousands of people in an amazing park just worshiping Jesus, FOR FOUR DAYS! You can come for all four days, for the weekend or just for a day. As the youth minister of my church, I've had the honor to take our youth to Alive for the past three years. This is year four and we are SOOO excited! If you do come please find me, say hi, give me a hug and be sure to visit Phil at the Fish table! Visit www.alive.org to buy tickets!
My son just graduated from high school and it's an amazing time. A bittersweet but amazing time. PTA meetings are over. Car pooling is OVER! Lunch boxes are over! However, with Donovon heading to college it's a new time for me. No more nights of half the track team at my house. No more cooking for a bunch of teens. Many things I'm going to miss. I'm asking for your prayers! It's getting real ladies! Real hard. :-)
Last week I had the distinct honor to cook on Fox 8's morning show. It was an amazing time and I made my chocolate banana bread! I know that you all saw the recipe before but I'd still like to share my experience with you.

Lastly, at my church, we are studying the book of John and we are currently finishing John 16. At the end of the sermon our pastor always leaves us with a main salient point that is called the Monday Morning Moment. It's something that we can remember to discuss over the water cooler the next day. It's a great way to remember the message and share the gospel. I'll leave you with this weeks message.
"Peace with God brings us the peace of God." ~ Pastor Will Robinson
I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.” ~ John 16:33 NLT
Have a blessed week ladies! Luv ya!

Congratulations, Robin! Such exciting things going on in your life right now. You've done such a great job being there for your son all these years. It's your time now to be able to follow where God is leading you in this next stage of life. It gets a little easier as your children transition from your nest to their own. But, there are still some days where it is hard. Praying for you!!!
You are amazing Robin! I know your youth group is honored to have you as their leader. Why didn't you tell us about Fox 8!? I could have tuned in! I love you!
