I'd love to share some exciting news with you. Two days after Thanksgiving (and my birthday) I had the pleasure and blessing of becoming Mrs. John Ackison! I'm so excited! My wedding was everything I could have prayed for and more. It was simple, sweet and pointed everyone to Jesus! My friends, family and most importantly the Lord were there as I said I do to the man that I waited 37 years for the Lord to bring my way! (The Lord does work in His own amazing time sisters.) One of my best friends from Texas and John's son, who is a Marine stationed in California, were able to facetime into the ceremony. Don't you just love technology. The coolest part was the praise team from my church leading everyone in praise right after the ceremony! They sang "I hear the sound of victory" by Maurette Brown Clark!
I'd love to share some of the pics and moments with you. The scripture that I dedicated to my husband was Song of Solomon 3:4a "Scarcely had I left them when I found him whom my soul loves; I held on to him and would not let him go . . .
