Robin Blair

Robin Blair is the Chef and owner of Cooking with C.A.R.E. Cooking is her passion but that comes second to her two favorite roles, precious daughter of the King and mom to her warrior, Donovon. Robin’s journey has taken her from a single parent home, to becoming a single parent, owning her own culinary business and recently becoming a travel chef with the U.S. Olympic Alpine Ski Team. She went to culinary school at Cuyahoga Community College. Donovon, is her pride and joy and was the inspiration for starting her business. Years ago, while watching a cooking show, he told her, “Mom you can cook better than that person. You should do that!” Cooking with C.A.R.E was born! Robin is humbled that God has chosen to take her through this journey. She is grateful for His love and grace amazing. She serves at Believer’s Bible church on the praise team, hospitality ministry and as the leader of the youth group, Friends on Fire. Other than cooking, you may find her engrossed in a good book, writing poetry or listening to some good music. She loves Jimmy Needham and Chris August! Her favorite place to hang out and find peace is the Cleveland Museum of Art.

Her favorite scriptures are Psalm 91:1-2 NKJV and Zephaniah 3:17 NKJV.

Christine Boyle

Christine Boyle is the mother of two very special children, both of whom have special needs. Courteney, is her biological daughter, and is 13 years old. Kevin is her newly adopted son, who is 10 years old. Christine has been married to her husband Dan, for 11 years. Christine and Dan aspire to give their special children very full lives, from CAVS and Indians games, to adapted baseball, bowling, and ice skating. Christine and her family truly don’t miss a beat! Christine believes that her children, although to the world, may seem very helpless and without purpose, are actually living, breathing examples of God’s power being awesomely displayed in weakness!! God has given Christine a great joy in publicly sharing her story, which speaks directly to the hope and purposes of Christ in the midst of suffering and uncertainty. Through the years, Christine has shared the stage with people such as: Joni Eareckson Tada, Chuck Colson, and Aaron Shust. She has teamed up multiple times with the ministry, Young Life, for various speaking events. Christine has shared her family’s story with hundreds of doctors, nurses, and medical professionals over the years, as an advocate for Patient and Family Centered Care. In 2013, Christine was named the Mom Squad "Mom of the Year."

Rachel Scott

Rachel Scott is a wife and the mother to six wonderful children. She and her husband Willie started off as a blended family of five (Antonio, Willie III, Autumn, Dominique and Darius) but when they gave birth to Gabrielle, she became number six to their large family. Rachel often humbly states that God has blessed them to “Blend Gracefully”, as their children have interacted with each other as siblings since the day they met.  Rachel expresses a strong belief in keeping God as the foundation of her marriage in order to have him as the center of her family. She currently serves in the media ministry and on the creative team for the kids at her local church. She enjoys spending quality time with her husband and children and tries to model a lifestyle that reflects that of a Proverbs 31 woman. Although Rachel loves to read, she has had a deep love for writing since she was a young child. She is blessed to have completed her Bachelors of Science in Sociology as well as her Master’s in Business Administration and continues to pursue many new endeavors that will allow God to get the glory out of her life.

Marlia Bryonne

2013 became Marlia's year when she realized that she was called to minister to God’s people through her writing and speaking. Marlia is a mother of two handsome boys Jamare(3) and Jamere(1). Due to the fact that she is a single mother, Marlia has the passion and desire to uplift and encourage other mothers. Her relationship with Christ was taken to another level after she became a mother, learning to rely solely on Him. Through her writing and speaking engagements, Marlia plans to show others the hope and love that she has found in Jesus Christ. Daily she strives to be more like her father in Heaven and prays that His light will shine through her.  She currently serves on the Praise Dance Team and on the creative team for the Children’s Ministry at her local church. She enjoys spending quality time with her children, being as hands on as possible through every stage of their lives. In her free time you can find her reading, writing, and eating. She holds a Bachelors of Criminal Justice which she received from Tiffin University. She plans to continue her education in the near future.

Kathleen Horvath

Kathleen has always tried to look on the positive side of everything -- “the glass is half full” attitude.  Every job and every talent God has given her she has discovered can be used to build upon something more wonderful that God has in store for her like this new adventure of working with the Mom Squad.  Kathleen loves music and has sung professionally for numerous venues in recent years.   She is currently the Sunday school worship leader at her local church and has written and directed two Christmas programs.    Through singing, writing and speaking, Kathleen feels called to minister to other women who need uplifting and need to know that they are a beloved child of God.    


Kathleen is married to Joe and has been blessed with three wonderful children (Heather, Clint, and Alex), a daughter they “adopted” into their family (Hannah) and a boy they sponsor through Compassion International (Salomon).   She has been through the trials of having three teenagers and one infant all at the same time while juggling a full-time job and full-time school.   

When faced with challenging days, her favorite “go-to” scripture is Philippians 4:13.

Lisa 

Lisa lives in Canton, Ohio; originally from Richmond, Virginia

She is a wife of 21 years, to her husband Johnny and mom to two wonderful children, daughter Sarah 19 and son, Jason, 11. She is currently a full time Financial Aid Administrative Assistant at Malone University as well as a full time student studying Associate Degree in Social Work-Gerontology as well as taking American Sign Language classes to obtain her certificate.


Lisa enjoys traveling, hiking, camping, fishing, white water rafting and spending time with family. Her passions are live kidney donation, she donated in 2009 and helping veterans.  Lisa loves meeting new people and sharing her faith, she became Catholic in 2005 and is friends with some of the nuns at the Sancta Clara Monastery in Canton Ohio and sends them prayer requests of family, friends and people that she meets. 


Sonia Maranville

Sonia Maranville is the owner of Get 2 the Core Fitness.  Along with being a certified personal and group fitness trainer, she and her husband of 21 years are the parents to 4 very active kids, Tyler 21, Justin 19, Jake 13, and Sarah 11.  She was a stay at home mom until 2005 when she decided to follow her passion of helping people grow from where they are to where they never dreamt they could go.  Helping people see how being healthy physically overflows into the rest of our lives, minds, relationships, jobs, and spiritual walk.  Since then she has trained in multiple facilities including corporate, has been a motivational speaker at the ALIVE Festival, a guest Fitness Expert for The Fish, shared fitness lectures in the area, and has shared exercise and healthy skits with kids at local schools.  She has trained all ages, and has specialized training in cycling, BOSU, kickboxing, and pro-active postural restructuring to name just a few.

Josie Valley

Josie Valley loves the Lord, her family, and people.  She and her husband are the parents to one vivacious son and are expecting baby number two in the fall.  She is a writer, speaker, counselor and cook.  Since she was young, she has helped manage and build her family’s Italian food business, inadvertently developing her love of hospitality and cooking.  Although she still helps with the family business, her heart is most satisfied when she is either writing or speaking about the Lord.  Josie enjoys serving and counseling woman through life’s journey, with the sole purpose of helping them experience the precious love and beautiful grace of Jesus Christ.  As an advocate for females in general, she feels that her greatest calling is to help women join together in sisterhood and love. 

Josie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management/Business and a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Counseling.  She has planned and organized various women’s events, volunteers at the Juvenile Detention Center in Cleveland and periodically writes columns for local newspapers.  Currently, she is on her church’s music team, where she enjoys the blessing of singing with her husband who leads them in worship.
