Kathleen Horvath, myself, Lori Triplett and band!
The weather forecast said cloudy....but the "son" was shining in Aurora, Ohio yesterday! That's what happens when over 300 women who love Jesus come together. Our morning started with a delicious breakfast fit for a queen. After enjoying our meal, we entered into a great time of worship led by Lori Triplett. Lori and her band did an AMAZING job helping us all focus on the goodness of our Lord. Thank you Lori for reminding us of how beautiful we are in the eyes of God.
What a treat it was to have Debbie Stuart as the keynote speaker. Through humorous and heartfelt stories, Debbie brought a clear message of God's faithfulness to the women. I don't believe any of us will look at Wal Mart pajamas in the same way ever again!
The gracious staff of AM 1220 The Word did an amazing job making the women feel appreciated and special. Many women went home with amazing gift baskets that were provided by the generous sponsors. All in all, it was a perfect morning affirming and encouraging women who give sacrificially to their churches, families and ministries.
Please allow me to end this post on a personal note. The highlight of my day was watching a dream come true for a special woman when she won a complete self publishing package. As I was walking to my car, I had an opportunity to congratulate her. With emotion, she began to tell me about her dream to one day write a book and shared the topic of the book with me. I stood in complete amazement of God's provision and perfect timing. This dear woman woke up yesterday planning to attend a breakfast not knowing that a dream was about to come true. How GREAT is our God!
If you were a guest at the breakfast and took some pictures, please share them on our Facebook page.

Joy, what a lovely recap you did of the Women in Ministry Breakfast. I agree with you that God is truly amazing and I am so happy for the lady who won the publishing package. I hope next year that even more ladies are able to come to the breakfast to be refilled with God's word and refilled with all the praise and worship songs!
I must say that yesterday was one of those "God days"...when you see His hand in so many ways you feel honored to have been a part. I too rejoiced with the winner of the publishing package- the look on her face sealed it! True shock that God had swung wide an open door! I myself was deeply moved by Debbie's message. Such power and anointing! I am grateful to have been a part and hope to make the next one :)
