Today, the reading in the Bible at church for this Sunday of
the Lenten season was the Samaritan woman at the well speaking with Jesus. For me, as a wife and mother, I can relate
with the woman at the well because I thirst for the water that Jesus is
offering to us. We just have to be
willing to accept him.
" Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, 14 but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
" Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, 14 but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
Sometimes as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend I feel
like when I am faced with life threatening situations, God is reminding us what
a gift he has given us and the true fragility of life. None of us are exempt from sickness, health
scares or even death. We are not guaranteed tomorrow and we must
realize that without him we are nothing.
It is like being in the desert thirsting for water and all we can do is
call on Jesus for everything. When we
are watching our loved one in the midst of sickness or an accident, all we can
do is call on Jesus in prayer for support, for comfort, for healing and for MIRACLES!
As I told you before in my previous posts, I BELIVE IN
MIRACLES!!! God is good, he is real and
he listens to our cries of desperation when the only thing we have left to hold
onto is our faith. I have personally
witnessed several miracles in my own life. He has always walked with me during
the scariest times in my life; he has always comforted me and led me to help
others that might be experiencing similar things so that I may be a comfort or
example for others by sharing my faith.
When things in our lives come up we must remember that sometimes
we just “Need to cry out to Jesus!”
I would like to share the Third Day Cry out to Jesus for you
to listen to and cry out to him he is there for you!

This is something that has taken me years to learn! No matter how great or small our problems are, God still desires for us to bring them to His attention. Even though He is fully aware of our needs even before we ask Him, He is still just patiently waiting on us to come to Him so that He can help us and heal us! He's so awesome!
