Summer Activities

Hi everybody!

Summer is just moving so fast, does anybody else feel that way? I remember this winter in the negative degree weather how I was looking so forward to enjoying nice weather.  Now school is getting ready to start next month.
This week is Boy Scout camp so the boys are gone and I am all alone with our little dog lady. It is so quiet at home right now. I don't really like quiet, so mostly I am trying to keep myself busy by "declutter"  things in the house.
In one of my previous blogs, I gave you some vacation spots that I found to be really fun.  In June we went to Kitty Hawk, North Carolina and stayed for about a week.  We are the type of people that like to do things on our vacation so I can recommend seeing the light houses. We saw four in total that week. The Wright Brother's memorial, Jockey's Ridge, and Fishing.  It is important to realize that with a little planning you can make it economical to go on vacation.  Camping is definitely a way to save money, then you can spend your money on doing things and eating out.  We usually camp, but this time we split a condo with my best friend from high school.  By booking it in January, we saved a significant amount of money.
I am the picture taker of the family, because I like to have the memories saved.  The one picture that I took looked just like heaven. The waves were full and the sky was beautiful. Whenever I am outdoors, I am always in awe of thing things that God has created. It is always nice to stop and appreciate and thank him for the beauty around us.
