Prayer and Prayer Requests

Hi everybody!

I can't believe how fast the summer has gone! I was talking with the other Mom Squad girls Friday and we they  couldn't believe how fast it has gone either. I think that in the world we live in today, everything is so right now and instant that if we don't purposely slow ourselves down and take the time to enjoy life, it just passes by in an instant.  I went to Cracker Barrel the other day, which is one of our favorite restaurants, but the thing that bothers me the most is that they rush along the seasons. They along, with other department stores are already selling Halloween stuff. Well, it is August, I would kind of like to enjoy the summer, especially since the weather was so horrible this winter in Northeast Ohio.

One of the things that as the Mom Squad we would like to do, is to pray for you. Prayer is so important in our daily lives and sometimes our hearts get so heavy, that we need others to pray with us and lift us up. That is why God sends us friends!

Marlia and I will be heading the prayer requests and as I said before, I also am friends with the nuns at the Sancta Clara Monastery in Canton, Ohio. They have personally prayed miracles for my family and friends. 

As we will be praying for you, please pray for us and the Mom Squad that this ministry will reach out to our communities and be pleasing to the Lord. 

Also, please keep Brooke and her family in your prayers as she makes an important change in her life.  She is not only my friend but more like a sister so I always want the best for her and her family.

Have a great Monday, keep praying and make every moment count, just because the stores like to rush our lives, we can slow ourselves down and with God's help make the most of our lives and the lives of people around us.
